Players get to compete in various dance modes. Each mode has its own special features and require different levels of skill. Let's see which of these modes will fit your prowess!
Practice Mode
* Recommended for gamers trying out the game for the first time
* Begin by creating a room in the lobby and selecting "Practice".
* Master the basic keystrokes and perfect the timing to execute the dance moves flawlessly.
* Practice on your own or with friends before hitting it big in the dance arena.
Normal Individual
* This is the most basic mode for novice players.
* Battle it out with up to 6 players in a dance competition.
* Composed of: Normal (levels 1-7); Freestyle 1 (levels 8-9), Freestyle 2, and the finishing move.
Choreography
* Test your skills in keeping in sync with the music. Try not to miss a beat!
* Try it with friends for perfect choreography, or compete with others for dance supremacy!
Freestyle Battle
* Lets you develop and evolve your own dancing style
* Each round has different arrow patterns so you can choose various combinations of dance moves.
Group Mode
* Recommended for couples and buddies.
* 4-6 players can form 2 groups and challenge each other in group competition.
* Teams are grouped into 2 vs. 2 or 3 vs. 3
* Collaboration and teamwork are the deciding factor of this mode
* Take turns to square off with your opponents. The team with the slickest moves wins!
Sync 8
* Mastered the 4-direction keystrokes? Check out this mode!
* For advanced gamers.
* Dance to different moves with the inclusion of diagonal keystrokes. 8 directions in total.
NPC Dance Party
* Challenge the NPC to a Battle Party (a small amount of Den is needed).
* 5 players are required to be present in the Arena to challenge the NPC.
* Various difficulty levels to choose from.
* Required: level 6 & above.
* Work together in order to beat the NPC on his own dance floor!
Dynamic 4
* You need to hit the right keys onscreen, choreography-style. If not, you miss two turns.
* Everyone takes a turn in freestyle dancing!
* When one goes center stage, the others will be backup dancers, though they still need to press the keys appearing onscreen.
Dynamic 8
* This mode is similar to the Dynamic 4, only that it uses the 8-key number pad.
* Test your skill in perfecting all combos!
1-2 Party
* There are no direction keys in this mode.
* NPC will say the numbers on the number pad which corresponds to the moves s/he will execute.
* For example, the NPC will say "6, 8, Go!" you'll need to press the 6, 8 and hit the spacebar for go.
* There's no blinking light to follow so you have to rely on your precision. Timing depends on how the NPC will execute the direction.
Beat Up
* Press the right keys before they hit the gray arrow keys.
* You need to use the number pad keys to use all arrows.
* The blue light at the bottom center of the screen is where you need to press the spacebar or 0 key before hitting the center of the "Beat Up" bar.
* "Beat Up" bar will be filled up if you didn't miss any keys.
