Basic Mode
In Basic Mode points are distributed similar to standard tennis rules. You win the match if you have won a certain ammount of sets, depending on the rules you chose. The counting mode is 0, 15, 30, 40. To win a set, a player with 40 points needs to score another point. The 40:40 scrore is en exception, called Deuce. A set needs to be won with 2 points advance. The player scoring the next point after Deuce has Advantage. If you win after Advantage, the set is over, if you lose it's Deuce again.

Battle Mode
Battle Mode is a match mode where items will appear which can be used for defense or offense and may influence the match's tournout.

Every player has an HP gauge which decreases every time you miss the ball or the character is hit by an offensive item. When the gauge reaches 0 the player loses the match.

Battlemon Mode
In Battlemon Mode, Double games can only be played with a real opponent. Your Battlemon will then be your Double partner.

Battlemon are available at the Shop. Every Battlemon has its own very special advantage and disadvantage.

After purchasing a Battlemon, its lifespan is 30 days. This span is indicated by the life bar and can be increased by items like Leaf of Life Juice. After the time is over, your Battlemon can only be revived trough Root of Life Wood. Besides the Life Bar there are also Energy and Hunger Bar. As these decrease trough playing, the power of your battlemon decreases too. They can be increased again by feeding your Battlemon special items or letting your it rest. The EXP bar is growing by playing and increases your Battlemon's level. Hitpoints (HP), as well as the status points Strength (STR), Stamina (STA), Dexterity (DEX) and Wisdom (WIS) can also be increased with items.

Before you are able to play with your Battlemon you need to pick it up on the Battlemon Farm in My Home. You can watch your little Battlemon ruinning free there.

Chat Mode
Along with the match rooms, there are also chat rooms in the lobby. You can either enter an existing chatroom or create a new one. When creating, you can chose a name and determine whether your room is public or protected by password. You can also specify the number of players, 8 or 16 and chose whether you want your room to be a House Room (more on House Chats). A Chatroom always takes place on one of the known tennis courts which can be chosen as well.

House Mode
House Chat is just like a normal chatroom, but it offers additional activities.

The house's interior can be decorated in My Home (via Main Room) with various furniture, carpets and wallpapers which are available at the shop. Some furniture provides bonus gold and EXP for Battle and Basic Mode. The EXP and gold you win can be increased up to 30%. Furthermore every piece of furniture increases your Housing Points which increase the Housing Level. After Housing Points have reached a certain ammount, you can purchase a bigger house at the shop.

Fishing...
In the garden's pond there are a lot of fish. You can catch them using a Wooden Fishing Rod which can be bought from the shop. You need to put the Fishing Rod into an empty slot in Magic Pocket, then stand near the fish and use your Fishing Rod by pressing "D". As soon as a fish bites, a gauge appears which is moving from left to right rapidly. Before it disappears again you need to press "D". Now a new gauge appears, having a mark where you need to press "D" again. If you sucess hitting the marks, the fish is yours.

Fish are used to create Quick Slot items for Battle Mode. For these, buying a recipe from the shop is required. With the right amount of fish, the recipes can be turned to the according item in Magic Pocket.

Collecting Fruits...
Hey, how about the palmtrees in the garden? After having aquired a Wood Basket from the Shop and equiped it on an empty slot like the Fishing Rod, you can stand in front of a palmtree and press the "D" key. A gauge with many little people which are running from the right to the left appears. Repeatedly press "D" at the right time and the fruit are yours! This function works only in houses with level 2 or higher!

Fruit can be processed to Battlemon Items which feed or refresh your Battlemon or increase its stats. The processing is just the same as the fish's.

STORYLINE

A long time ago in a parallel universe, there was a magical island-world known as Pangya. Everything was peaceful in Pangya until one day an evil force was unleashed upon the land by the Demon King. The dark energy created a magical field around Pangya that drained the life force from the land.
The land of Pangya weakened with every passing day. Flowers withered, trees fell, and the barren earth lost its green. No solution could be found to rid the land of the evil presence and the people of Pangya had lost all hope. Until one day.
The inhabitants of the land found out that all the life force from Pangya was being taken by the Demon King through a hole in the force field. A council was quickly gathered and they came up with a plan. They would gather the spirit force of all living things into a magic crystal ball they called the Aztek. If they could place this into the hole of the force field, they could defeat the evil which has plagued them.
The power of the crystal became so great with the spirit force that it could not be touched by human hands. So, a magical tool called the Air Knight was made. Shaped like a stick, it was designed to hit the Aztek ball into the holes in the evil force field. But the crystal grew weaker every time it was struck making it necessary to hit the ball into the hole with the fewest number of strokes possible. A great warrior from Earth was finally able to accomplish this feat, saving Pangya from the evil force for good.
Everyone celebrated and revered the great hero for bringing peace and beauty back to Pangya. In his honor, a game called Pangya was developed and quickly became the most popular game in the land. Today, YOU have been invited to play Pangya! Show us your skills and let us celebrate the game that brought magic back to the realms of Pangya.

GAME MODES

Stroke Play
Stroke play adds up all the strokes per player for an entire round of golf. The player with the least amount of strokes wins the match. For example, if Player A finished with 72 strokes during the match and Player B finished with 81 strokes during the match, Player A is the winner because it took Player A less strokes to complete the course.

Team Match Play
Two people become one team and compete for a win on every hole. For example, if the blue team finishes the first hole in 3 strokes, but red team finishes it in 4 strokes, the blue team is the winner.

After 18 holes, whoever has won more holes is the overall winner of the match. If the red team wins 10 holes out of 18 holes, the blue team cannot win. This is called a Dormie and the red team automatically wins because the blue team does not have enough holes left in the match to break even with the red team.

Tournament Mode
Tournament mode puts you up against 29 other online players in a stroke play match. For example, a total of 30 people play 18 holes and whoever finishes with the least amount of strokes at the end of the match is the winner. All players' scores, as well as their current standings, are updated in real-time during the match.

Team Tournament Mode
Team Tournament mode adds a little more flavor to the traditional Tournament Mode. Teams of 15 players go against each other in a battle to see who can finish higher up on the scoreboard. The lower your score, the better your team does, to play your best! Also, all players' scores, as well as their current standings, are updated in real-time during the match.

Family Mode
While in family mode, you can use one username to play Albatross18 with a total of 4 players. This mode is for friends and family to play together on one computer with only one username. The Family Mode is great to help out friends and family who may not know how to play Albatross18.

Pang Battle Mode
Pang Battle mode allows players to find out who really is the best golfer in the game. In this mode, players can wager their own pang amount per hole against opposing players. If there is a tie on a certain hole, then the current pot for that hole will be pushed to the next hole for an even greater payout.
